I'm happy to explain how a travel concierge works; I know it can feel like a bit of smoke and mirrors to some and I believe in transparency for setting up the right client/concierge relationship. A concierge is there to take all the burden of planning and researching off of you, to bring deep destination, hotel, and touring expertise to the planning process, ensure the quality and seamless service of your experience, get you the best available rates, and when possible, additional amenities.
Our team works hard to have close relationships with management everywhere, so we know our clients are well looked after when traveling. The hotels pay agencies a commission after you stay, and because of this, I don't charge any fee for hotel bookings - they pay, you don't!
I can also provide more extensive itinerary planning and concierge services. Because there's no commission included there, depending on your needs I will charge a planning fee for the time it takes to pull everything together and ensure I line up the best of what your chosen destination offers. Most clients use me in both ways - sometimes just an easy hotel booking for a resort vacation or a weekend away, sometimes a more extensive itinerary for a complicated adventure. Siren Voyages, LLC also has partnerships with over 5,000 properties across a broad range of hotel categories and with many partners on the ground in the destinations we send our clients. As available through these close relationships, we can secure additional amenities including room upgrades, spa and resort credits, and complimentary breakfast when available.
